Invite candidates

Candidates are typically invited to an assessment via their profile or when creating a job, but you can now invite them directly from the Assessments page.

To do so, click on the Invite button at the top of the page and select the relevant assessment from the dropdown. This will redirect you to the Invite candidates page, where you can choose the job, the assessments, and their respective timelines.

The screen is displayed in a table that shows candidates on the left along with several columns to provide insights into each candidate's assessment:

  • The page shows up to 50 candidates at a time. Use the navigation arrows at the top right to access additional pages.
  • To see a more detailed view of the table’s data, you can use the horizontal scroll, as the candidate column remains sticky while scrolling, ensuring it is always visible.
  • Columns can be sorted by clicking the header.

Filters

You can use the filters on the right side of the page to narrow down your view by assessment type. As not all filters apply to all assessments, you’ll need to select an assessment to begin drilling down into specific filters:

  • All
  • One-way interviews
  • Live interviews
  • Predictive assessments
  • Reference checks

Once you pick an assessment type, the sorting options will appear. Check the Assessment data by type table to see what information is available for each type.

Sorting

When you choose one assessment type, a Sort by button appears above the table so you can better organize the columns. Sorting options change based on the assessment type you select, as not all options are available for every type of assessments.

Views

Views act as “pre-set filters” for your assessments. Selecting a view from the right sidebar on the Assessments page displays only the assessments that match those filters. Spark Hire includes the following views:

  • All: Displays every assessment.

  • Archived: Contains assessments older than five years. These won't appear in the main list but can be accessed here.

The Predictive Talent Assessment stays valid for five years. Even if marked as archived, its results can be reused for multiple job applications within that period without needing reassessment.
  • Deleted: Lists all assessments that have been deleted.
