The Invite Candidate page allows you to invite candidates to One-Way Video Interviews, the Predictive Behavioral Assessment, and Reference checks easily and efficiently.

Invite candidates individually

  1. From the Assessment list page, click Invite at the top of the page. Alternatively, go to the View job page and click Invite on the top right.
  2. Choose one of the available assessment options. You will be redirected to the Invite page, where you’ll complete specific setup steps based on the assessment type:
    • One-Way Video Interview
    • Live Video Interview
    • Predictive Behavioral Assessment
    • Reference Check
  3. Select the job you want the interview to be for and an assessment type.

  4. Depending on the type of assessment, complete the following setup:
    1. One-Way Video Interview (Screen, Growth, Enterprise): Select an existing question set for your interview or create a new one.
    2. Live Video Interview (Screen, Growth, Enterprise): Optionally, select an existing question set for your interview or create a new one. These questions are a reference for the host and remain fully customizable and reorderable even during the meeting. They are not visible to candidates.
    3. Predictive Behavioral Assessment (Predictive, Growth, Enterprise): Select a relevant Behavioral profile.
    4. Reference check (All plans): Select a Reference survey and the number of references requested.
  5. Enter the candidate’s name, email, and phone number if relevant.
    • Add up to 100 candidates in bulk by uploading a CSV file. To do this, click CSV upload, download the template, fill the columns with the relevant candidates, and re-upload the file.
    • You also have the option to send candidates updates via SMS text messages.
📝 The CSV and SMS features are not available to some legacy plans.
  1. Optionally, customize your email invitation.
    • Default: If you have set up default email templates for one-way interview invites in your email template library, they will automatically be used as the default content for your invitations.
    • Customize: If you want to edit the email invitation content or choose another template, select this option. Customize the content or choose a new email template by clicking Select template and selecting one from the list.

  2. Set a completion deadline for candidates using:
    • Relative timelines (e.g., "3 days") that expire at the end of the third day in the user’s time zone.
    • Absolute timelines (specific dates and times), allowing precise control over the candidate's deadline.
  3. When you're ready to finish, click Send invites.

Invite candidates in bulk

📝 Note: Bulk invites don’t support Live Video Interviews; you can only send these one at a time. Additionally, you can only send bulk invites to candidates for the same job.
  1. From the Assessment list, select all candidates you want to invite.
  2. Click Invite in the bulk actions toolbar under the filters and select the assessment to invite them to.

Timeline overview

📝 Note: This timeline only applies to Reference check requests.

When you request references, you’ll see a clear timeline on the candidate's assessment status showing three key dates:

  • Requests sent – The date the Reference checks request was sent to the candidate.
  • Candidate’s deadline – The last date for the candidate to provide their reference contacts.
  • References’ deadline – The last date for references to complete the survey.

The timeline updates automatically based on when the request is sent and helps you track progress.
