📢 These features are currently in rollout.

In June 2025, Spark Hire Meet introduced a new assessment workflow that allows you to send multiple assessments per candidate, track them individually, and view all results in one place. This update is designed to give hiring teams a clearer, more complete picture of candidate fit throughout the hiring process. This article provides an overview of what’s changed, including new features, updated navigation, and how to use the new workflow to manage assessments from start to finish.

  • Multiple assessments — Easily manage different types of assessments across the hiring process. Whether you’re evaluating the candidate’s experience with One-Way Video Interviews early on or culture fit with Predictive Talent Assessment later, you can now view and manage assessments consistently and transparently.
  • Structured evaluation – Drive better hiring decisions by using a repeatable and consistent process. On the job page, define how candidates will be evaluated for the role, leveraging multiple assessments.
  • Faster invites — Quickly invite candidates to new assessments with just a few clicks, leveraging the assessments defined for the job.
  • Simple collaboration  — View all assessments sent to a candidate on their profile, track progress, and discuss with teammates to decide on next steps.
  • Unlimited reference checks — Reference checks are now a fully independent assessment type. You can request as many as you need, whenever you need them in the hiring process (included with Pro, Growth, and Enterprise).
  • Predictive Talent Assessment — Gain deeper insight into candidates’ behavioral competencies and workplace motivations. Designed for better hiring decisions, this assessment helps you evaluate a candidate’s potential success in a role, reduce bias, and share easy-to-read reports with your team or the candidate (included with Growth and Enterprise).

What’s new?

Navigation updates

We’ve improved Meet’s navigation to enhance usability, create more space on the screen, and simplify how customers move through the platform.

Here's a quick video (with more details below) on how the new navigation works:

  • The sidebar navigation is now fixed and no longer expandable.
  • A new secondary sidebar appears on the left, replacing old submenus and updating dynamically based on the page you’re viewing. It features frequently-used views for common user actions, such as Latest submissions and Evaluate One-Ways.
  • The Video Messages menu was moved into the Library.
  • Share links and Scheduler links were integrated into the Jobs menu.
  • A new Assessments menu replaced the previous Interviews menu.

Assessment list page

The new Assessment list page replaces the old Interviews page, which previously only supported one-way and live interviews. Now, you can manage all assessment types—One-Way Video Interviews, Live Interviews, Predictive Talent Assessment, and Reference checks—from a single, centralized page. Designed with clarity and efficiency in mind, the Assessment list page gives you full control in a clean, organized interface:

  • Easy navigation — Quickly find candidates and assessments using the top search bar and intuitive navigation. You can invite candidates to assessments directly from this page, no need to switch screens.
  • Flexible views — Switch between views at any time using the layout icon.
    • Table view: See detailed info in columns, including status, due dates, results, and recommendations. The candidate’s name stays visible as you scroll.
    • Card view: Get a visual snapshot of each candidate’s assessments, including timestamps, status, and scores.
  • Filtering and sorting — Filter by assessment type, job, or any other value. Then sort by status, date, or ranking to focus on what matters most.
  • Bulk actions — Select multiple candidates to perform actions all at once, including sharing interviews, rescheduling, and sending video messages.
⚠️Important: Filtering by tags and Custom views aren’t currently available on the new Assessment list page. To use these features, select View legacy interviews list at the top of the page.

Assessment status

The Status column shows the assessments’ current statuses:

  • Invited: The invitation has been sent, but the candidate has not yet responded.
  • Scheduled (Only applies to Live interviews): The assessment is set for a specific date and time.
  • Submitted: The candidate has submitted the assessment, interview or reference details.
  • Evaluated: One or more evaluations were provided:
    • One-Way and Live: by users or reviewers.
    • Reference Check: by references.
    • Predictive Talent Assessment: assessment was scored by Meet.
  • Expired: The assessment deadline has passed without completion.
  • Canceled: The assessment has been canceled.

Assessments tab in jobs

Instead of the old setup wizard, you'll now use a simplified, assessment-focused page that matches your job-level settings. This new setup makes it easy to invite candidates to One-Ways, Predictive Talent Assessments, and Reference checks, all from one place.

In this new design, One-Way Video Interviews, Predictive Talent Assessments, and Reference checks are organized under the Assessments tab in your jobs. This streamlines how you set up and invite candidates directly from the View job page.

  • Manage job assessments — Select the default assessment types you want to use for the job. These defaults help you speed up the invitation process by pre-configuring everything you need.
  • Structure candidate assessments collaboratively — Add optional tools to help your team evaluate candidates more consistently, such as questionnaires, scorecards, AI summaries, and audio-only video options.
🚀 Important: Invite links, Questionnaires, and Deadline extensions are only available for One-Way Interviews in this first version.

Invite flow and Invite links

Previously, each job had a single invite link for One-Way Interviews. But with new assessment types, that setup no longer fits. We’ve updated the workflow to support multiple assessment types—each with its own invite link. Instead of one generic link per job, you’ll now create links for specific assessment types, giving you more flexibility and control.

  • We’ve renamed “Interview Links” to “Invite links” as each invite is tied to an assessment type.
  • We’ve removed the “Interview link” row in the job overview—invite links now live in the Assessments tab.
  • Invite links still have a relative and absolute deadline setting with the option to completely deactivate the link.
  • Everything you could do with the Legacy links is still here—plus, this new setup supports other assessment options.

Reference checks

Reference checks are now unlimited and can be requested for any candidate, whether or not they've been invited to other assessments. With the new assessment workflow, you can:

  • Set up reference surveys directly from the Assessments tab.
  • Invite candidates using the new Invite page.
  • View feedback from references directly on the candidate’s profile once responses are in.

Predictive Talent Assessment

As part of this expanded workflow, Meet now includes Predictive Talent Assessment, a new, research-backed way to evaluate candidates. This assessment gives you deeper insight into each candidate’s behavioral strengths and skills, and workplace motivations. Use it alongside other assessments to better understand a candidate’s potential fit, reduce bias, and make more informed hiring decisions.
