In addition to notifying your candidates by email, Spark Hire can also send an SMS text message to alert them when they’ve been invited to complete an assessment.

Send SMS notifications

1. When inviting candidates to take an assessment, choose the candidate’s country (this defaults to your own) and enter their phone number.
2. You can also include candidate phone numbers when adding candidates via the CSV upload tool. The CSV must include 2 or 4 columns: 
   • Candidate’s Full name (required)
   • Email address (required)
   • Phone number (optional)

   • 2-letter country code (optional, e.g., US for the United States or AU for Australia)

     

     💡Tip: For a list of valid two-letter country codes, search for your country using this list.

3. Before sending SMS notifications, you must confirm that you have permission to contact each candidate by text message. Check the box below the candidate entry fields to confirm consent.
4. Click Send invites.
