When reviewing an interview on Spark Hire, you have the ability to submit 5-star ratings. The rating scale for One-Way and Live Interviews differs slightly.

One-Way Interview Ratings

When rating a One-Way Interview, you're able to rate each answer on a 5-star scale. The combined score of your ratings makes up Your Interview Rating (displayed in the Overall Interview Rating box under the question list).

The combined score of your entire team appears as the Team Rating in the same Overall Interview Rating box.

There are a couple of things to note when rating your One-Way Interviews.

  • To prevent biased ratings, you will not be shown the ratings of the other users on your company account until you post your rating.
  • You don't have to rate every answer for your overall rating to be calculated. If you don't rate an answer, it will not be factored into your overall rating.
  • For each answer, you'll also see a box labeled Average Rating For This Answer, this is the average of all ratings for the specific answer posted by the users of your company account.

Live Interview Ratings

When rating a Live Interview, you simply rate it on a single 5-star scale. Your rating contributes to the Team Rating which will appear in the Overall Interview Rating box. As with the One-Way Interview, you will not see the ratings of the other users on your company account until you post your rating.
