You can leave 5-star ratings while reviewing candidate interviews in Spark Hire. These ratings help you and your team evaluate responses consistently across both One-Way and Live interviews. Ratings are part of the evaluation tools available in the Assessment viewer.
Rate interviews
To rate an interview, open the Assessment viewer from the candidate list or assessment invite. From there, you’ll be able to watch One-Way and Live video responses, leave feedback, and complete your evaluation.
One-Way Interview ratings
For One-Way Interviews, you can rate each candidate's response on a 5-star scale.
- Your ratings are combined into your interview rating, which appears as a badge at the top of the Assessment viewer, next to the number of reviewers. You can also see it on the View candidate page under Internal evaluations.
- You don’t need to rate every question. Your interview rating will be based only on the answers you choose to rate.
- The team rating displays the average rating from all reviewers.
- Each response includes an average rating for the answer, calculated across your team.
Live Interview ratings
For Live Interviews, you'll give one overall 5-star rating. This contributes to the team average, which is also shown in the Overall Interview Rating box.
