Once you've set up a reference survey, you can easily request candidates to provide references. This will automatically trigger the sending of the reference survey to the provided references.
-
You can initiate this process directly from the Interviews list or the View Interview screen.
-
From the Interviews list: Click the 👤Request references icon on an interview card.
To send reference requests in bulk, select multiple interviews by clicking the checkbox in the upper right corner of the interview cards, and click on the 👤bulk action icon at the top of the Interviews list.
-
From the View Interviews page: Click on the References tab and select Request.
-
- Set the number of references you would like the candidate to submit and specify what information about the reference the candidate needs to provide—phone number, job title, relationship to candidate, company name. The reference’s name and email address are not optional and cannot be toggled off. Then, click Continue.
- You will see how many candidates you have requested references for out of your total allotment for the month at the top of the page. Click where indicated to get in touch with a member of our team about increasing the number of available requests.
- Specify the deadline by which the candidate(s) must provide their reference information and click Continue.
-
You can adjust the email message or select an email template that will be included in the reference request by selecting Yes under Do you want to modify the email that will be sent to your candidate(s)?
-
- Select which reference survey the references will be asked to answer regarding the candidate. Once you’re done, click Continue.
- Search your reference survey library for the survey you would like to use
- Add a new reference survey
- View the questions of an existing reference survey
- Select the reference survey you would like to use by checking the box
- Set the deadline by which the references need to submit their survey responses and click Continue.
-
Review the summary of the request, and if everything is correct, click Submit.
