We’ve redesigned Meet’s navigation to help you work faster, find key settings more easily, and move between Meet and Recruit with less friction.
This update creates a cleaner, more consistent experience across Meet and Recruit. It also introduces the new app switcher, which gives teams a more accessible way to move between platforms and access helpful resources.
Why we’re making these updates
Teams need a clear, predictable way to move through Meet and access the tools they use most. Before this update, teams experienced challenges like:
- Navigation that looked different across Meet and Recruit
- Settings that were harder to find
- Job-based workflows that required extra steps
- No consistent way to move between Meet and Recruit
This release focuses on:
- A cleaner navigation system that aligns Meet and Recruit
- Faster access to Settings from the main menu
- A new My Jobs section for job-based assessment workflows
- A new app switcher for easier movement between platforms
- Updated visuals that better match the Spark Hire design system
What changed?
- Updated design system—Use a cleaner interface with refreshed colors and typography
- Updated main navigation—Move between Assessments, Jobs management, Library, Analytics, Settings, What’s new, and Help from a cleaner left menu
-
Settings in the main menu—Access Settings directly from the left navigation instead of the user menu
- New Settings structure—Find account, organization, job, assessment, AI, permissions, data, and billing settings in one place
- Branding moved to Settings—Manage branding from Settings instead of the main navigation
- Job settings moved to Settings—Manage assessment & AI defaults, and intro & outro videos from Settings
- New My jobs section—View active jobs where you are part of the hiring team
- New app switcher—Switch between Meet and Recruit from the top navigation bar
Video overview
For a brief overview, here's a 2-minute video. The rest of this article provides more details on all of the updates.
New navigation system
Meet now has an updated left-hand navigation system that creates a cleaner, more consistent experience.
- The main navigation includes core areas of the platform, including:
- Assessments
- Jobs management
- Library
- Analytics
- Settings
- What’s new
- Help (Contact us, Accessibility settings, and Status page)
- Subscription details, for users with access
- The secondary menu changes based on the section you open. You can show or hide the sidebar to control how much navigation detail appears on screen.
- The user menu is now focused on account actions:
- Refer a friend
- Log out
- Settings moved out of the user menu and into the main navigation
New Settings section
Settings now appear as its own item in the main navigation. This makes it easier to find account, company, job, assessment, user, and candidate settings from one place.
Depending on your role and permissions, Settings may include:
- My account
- Organization
- Assessment setup
- User access
- Candidate data
- Plan & Billing
Admins will see the most options. Standard users and evaluators may see fewer options based on their access.
Settings visibility
| Admin | Standard | Evaluator | |
|---|---|---|---|
| My account | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
| Organization | ✅ | ✅ | ❌ |
| Assessment setup | ✅ | ❌ | ❌ |
| User access | ✅ | ❌ | ❌ |

| Plan & Billing | ✅ | ❌ | ❌ |
Branding and job settings
Branding and job settings have moved into Settings. This update changes where these tools live. It does not change how the settings work. You can now find:
-
Branding under Settings > Organization.
-
Job defaults under Settings > Assessment setup > Assessments & AI.
New My Jobs section
The new Assessments > My Jobs section gives users faster access to the jobs that matter most to them. Use My Jobs to view:
- My jobs: Active jobs where you are part of the hiring team
- All jobs: Active jobs you have access to
From My Jobs, you can also:
- View a job
- Create a new job
-
Sync jobs from an ATS integration, when available: Sync options appear for supported integrations only.
New product menu
Use the product menu to switch between Meet and Recruit, and access helpful resources. Open the menu from the top-left navigation bar. If your company uses both Meet and Recruit, you can switch between platforms from this menu.
This menu may also include links to:
- Product roadmap
- Product changelog
- Related product information
If your company does not use both platforms, you’ll see product recommendations instead.
| 📝 Note: When you use the app switcher, you may need to log in to the other platform. Meet and Recruit do not share one login session today. This means switching platforms may require a separate login. |
