A One-Way Interview Invite Link is a simple and quick way to invite your candidates to a One-Way Interview on Spark Hire.

It allows you to personalize your interview invitation process by sharing this link in a personal email to a candidate.

From our experience, a more personalized approach to inviting candidates to a video interview leads to a higher interview conversion (completion) rate.

Create an invite link

  1. You can create an invite link to a One-Way from any job—whether you're setting up a new job or using an existing one.
    • From the Jobs page — Browse the list to find the relevant job and click Create link next to the One-Way Video Interview you want to use.
    • From the View job page — Open the job, go to the Assessments tab, and on the Invites tile, click Create invite link.

  2. If the job isn’t connected to a question set, a message will appear prompting you to set one up. Click Continue.
  3. You’ll be redirected to the Assessments tab where you can select the question set. You’ll see the Create invite link button on the right is currently disabled.
  4. Choose a Question set and Save your changes.

📝Note: This question set is now the default for this job. You can update it at any time before inviting candidates.
  1. After saving, the Create invite link button will become clickable.
  2. Click on it and then set a deadline for your Invite link:
    • Days to complete: Allow candidates a fixed number of days to complete the assessment after they start.
    • Specific date: Allow candidates to complete the assessment until a specified date and time, after which the link will expire.
  3. Click Save and share your Invite link.
