Getting started

Before connecting with UKG Pro, we suggest reviewing the supported functionality and prerequisites below.

Supported functionality

Prerequisites

• You must purchase the Spark Hire Advanced Integration add-on.
• An Admin user in Meet must enable the integration.
• Each UKG Pro user who needs access must also exist in Meet with the same email address.
• Remove or deactivate any duplicate jobs in Meet before enabling the integration.
• Each job in Meet must have:
  • User permissions set
  • Location set, including time zone
  • Default assessments set (One-way, Predictive)
• Your Recruiting process in UKG Pro must include these steps (see instructions below):
  • Spark Hire: One-Way
  • Spark Hire: Predictive

Limitations

• Meet does not create new users from UKG Pro. If the UKG job owner does not exist in Meet, the Meet account owner becomes the job manager 
• For jobs created in UKG Pro Recruiting, the title and description are editable only in UKG Pro Recruiting

Integration setup

You must be an Admin in your organization’s Spark Hire Meet account.

1. Log in to your Spark Hire Meet account as an Admin. Go to Settings > Integrations, then find UKG Pro Recruiting in the list.

2. Click Activate integration, then Configure now.

   

3. In the modal, select I am an admin, choose the account type, then click Next.
4. Follow the on-screen steps to complete setup.

5. After the confirmation modal appears, click Finish. You’ll return to the UKG Pro Recruiting integration settings in Meet, now shown as Active.

   

6. Once the integration is active, you’ll be redirected to the integration main screen. Here, click Configure integration. Keep this window open; you will use these exact stage names in UKG Pro.

   

7. In UKG Pro, go to Settings > Recruiting processes and copy and paste the stage names in Meet to create two new steps:

   • Spark Hire: One-Way
   • Spark Hire: Predictive

   

Sync your UKG Pro Recruiting jobs into Meet

Once your UKG Pro Recruiting integration is active, you can bring jobs into Spark Hire Meet in two ways:

Option 1: Manual (default)

Best if you manage roles across multiple ATSs.

1. In Meet, go to Jobs management > Jobs and click Create job at the top right.
2. Select the option Sync from UKG Pro Recruiting.
3. In the modal, search by job name or job code).

   • Important: When searching by job code, you must enter the entire code for the job to appear. Partial codes will not return results.

     

4. Click Create.

Option 2: Auto-sync all UKG Pro Recruiting open jobs 

Best if most of your hiring runs through Meet. 

1. Go to Settings > Integrations > UKG Pro Recruiting and click Configure integration.

2. Click Configure settings, check Create open jobs automatically from the ATS, and confirm.

   

Once the sync is complete, go to Jobs management > Jobs in Spark Hire Meet to view your synced positions.

• After the initial sync, new jobs created in UKG Pro Recruiting will automatically appear in Meet.
• If you turn this setting off, Meet will stop creating new jobs automatically. Any jobs that were already created via auto-sync will remain linked and continue to stay in sync with UKG Pro Recruiting.

Send assessments from UKG Pro Recruiting

1. In UKG Pro, find or create a candidate.
2. In the search box, find the Spark Hire job, then click Apply. 

3. On the candidate row, open the Actions menu (three dots), then select Disposition.

   

4. Select the Spark Hire step you added previously (Spark Hire: One-Way or Spark Hire: Predictive), then save.

   

When a candidate moves into a Spark Hire step in UKG Pro Recruiting, Meet will:

• Send the assessment invite
• Update the candidate profile in UKG Pro when the assessment is submitted
• Add evaluation results when complete

All updates appear in the candidate’s UKG Pro profile for full visibility and tracking.
