Getting started

Before connecting with AkkenCloud, we suggest reviewing the supported functionality and prerequisites below.

Prerequisites

  • Authentication is done per-user so each user who is going to utilize the integration must authenticate between Spark Hire Meet and AkkenCloud.
  • Jobs and question sets must be created in AkkenCloud.
  • You must request manual activation of the integration to the Spark Hire Meet Support team.

Integration setup

If you’re an Administrator user or a Standard user on your organization's Spark Hire Meet account, follow these steps to connect the integration.

  1. Log in to Spark Hire as an Administrator, go to Settings > Integrations.
  2. Find AkkenCloud in the list and click Activate integration.
  3. Your User API Key will be generated. Copy this key.
  4. Send an email to support@sparkhire.com with the subject “Activate AkkenCloud Integration”.
  5. Spark Hire Meet will then coordinate with AkkenCloud to activate the video interviewing integration.

Working with AkkenCloud

Manage video interviews

  1. Submit the candidate you'd like to invite to a One-Way Video or Live Interview to the Short List for the job order.
  2. From the Short List, select the candidates you want to invite.
  3. Go to Integrated Services > Setup Video Interview.
  4. Select your video interview details:
  • The type of interview (one-way or live)
  • The Spark Hire Meet Question set to use
  • A deadline (for one-way interviews) or the date and time to connect with the candidate (for live interviews)
  1. Click Save to create the interview and send it to the candidate via Spark Hire Meet.
  2. The interview will now appear as Requested in AkkenCloud, under the Short List in Integrated Services > Manage Video Interviews.
  3. Once the candidate completes the interview, a Basic Share Link will be available. You can copy and paste this link to share the interview with others.
  4. You can also create an Advanced Share Link to share multiple candidate interviews with a single reviewer.
    1. Select a reviewer
    2. Choose the completed candidate interviews you'd like to share
    3. Click Share Interview
