Efficient collaboration with hiring stakeholders ensures candidates are reviewed thoughtfully and fairly. Here’s how to get others involved in the evaluation process using Spark Hire Meet.
🔀 Two common collaboration workflows
One of the things to figure out is how your hiring managers will be involved in the evaluation process with assessments on Spark Hire Meet.
The two core use cases are…
- Hiring managers need to evaluate all completed assessments
- Hiring managers need to evaluate a shortlist of completed assessments that you select
Below is how we'd recommend collaborating in these scenarios:
1. Hiring managers review all assessments
- Add them as users in your account with the user role of Standard
- Grant access to the relevant jobs via permissions
- They’ll automatically receive notifications for newly submitted assessments tied to those jobs
- They can log in to view and evaluate assessments directly.
2. Hiring managers review a shortlist
- Use sharing capabilities provided to you in Spark Hire Meet to send completed assessments to hiring managers directly
- Video Interviews: Use Advanced Share Links for quick external review.
- Predictive Talent Assessment: Download the Hiring Report PDF and share.
- Reference Checks: Copy/paste the text, or use the browser’s Print to PDF function.
- Managers don’t need an account
⭐️ Evaluating assessments in Spark Hire Meet
Spark Hire Meet supports multiple evaluation methods to keep your review process organized and consistent.
One thing to keep in mind is that candidates do not see your evaluations.
Video Interview
💡 The following evaluation options only apply to video interviews since the Predictive Talent Assessment is automatically scored and Reference Check feedback is submitted by references themselves. |
Evaluation Method | Definition | Plan Availability |
⭐️ Rating | Rate questions on a 5-star scale with a brief note about your rating. | All |
👍 Recommendation | Provide your personal recommendation on how to move forward with the candidate based on the interview: Strong Hire, Proceed, Not Sure, or No Hire. | All |
📝 Takeaways | Your perspective on the pros and cons of the candidate's interview along with anything that needs further review after this interview. | All |
🏆 Scorecard | Rate custom criteria on a 5-star scale. | Growth, Enterprise |
✔️ Pass/Fail | Mark an interview as Passed or Failed. This is an overall result meaning it's a decision for your whole team. | All |
Recommendation 1: Rating + Recommendation + Takeaways
The following method for evaluating completed interviews is recommended if you prefer rating the individual responses in a video interview.
- Rate each question in the one-way video interview (or the whole live video interview) on a 5-star scale
- Provide a Recommendation (Strong Hire, Proceed, Not Sure, or No Hire)
- Write any relevant notes in the Takeaways section (Pros, Cons, Further Review)
- The ratings from all team members who submit an evaluation are combined into the Team Average
Recommendation 2: Customized Scorecard + Recommendation + Takeaways
The following method for evaluating completed interviews is recommended if you prefer scoring a candidate's interview against custom criteria (vs. rating each question). Keep in mind that customizable scorecards are only available on specific plans.
Plans: Growth, Enterprise |
- Define 4–6 clear criteria per job and create a customized scorecard
- Rate the candidate against each criteria based on their video interview
- Provide a Recommendation (Strong Hire, Proceed, Not Sure, or No Hire)
- Write any relevant notes in the Takeaways section (Pros, Cons, Further Review)
- The scores from all team members who submit an evaluation are combined into the Team Average
Predictive Talent Assessment
When candidates submit the Predictive Talent Assessment, it is scored within a few minutes and you get a variety of insights including:
- Overall fit score ("Fit for role")
- Behavioral competencies (from the Predictive Profile selected)
- Top competencies (regardless of the Predictive Profile)
- Personal characteristics
- Workplace motivation

Reference Check
Since Reference Checks are based on the feedback of a candidate's references, they are marked as Evaluated once any feedback is provided by a reference and no automatic scoring is done.
🗃️ Sort based on evaluation data
When viewing the Assessment list, you can sort using the evaluation data. Here are some examples:

Predictive Talent Assessment
You can sort submitted assessments by their score AND filter to only show candidates who scored at a certain level.

👥 Sharing assessments outside of Spark Hire Meet
💡 Currently, sharing via links is only supported for video interviews, but there are plans in the near future for expanded sharing capabilities with other assessment types. |
If your hiring managers only need to see shortlists/specific completed assessments rather than all, we simply suggest sharing them outside of Spark Hire Meet.
Here's how to do that for each assessment type:
Video Interview
There are two types of share links for video interviews:
Share Link | Definition | Plan Availability | How To |

Predictive Talent Assessment
When a candidate completes a Predictive Talent Assessment, their results are not only displayed to you in the Spark Hire Meet interface, but you can also download beautiful reports to share with managers:

Coaching Report (see example) – This report is identical to the Hiring report but does not include percentile scores. Share this report with managers to help them guide coaching conversations and support the candidate’s growth.
