How do job slots work?
Your Spark Hire Meet plan includes a set number of job slots — these are the positions you can actively use to conduct assessments.
You can see how many job slots you have (and how many are in use) in two places:
-
At the top of your Jobs page.
-
In the Overview tab of any job
Active and inactive jobs
- Active jobs – These are marked with a green “Active” badge on the job description and count toward your job slot limit. They don’t expire unless you deactivate them or downgrade to a plan with fewer slots.
-
Inactive jobs – These are marked with a red “Inactive” badge on the job description and stay in your account, but you can’t schedule assessments for them. Candidates won’t be able to access or complete assessments for inactive jobs.
Changing your plan
- Upgrading your plan – When you upgrade to a plan with more job slots, you’ll be able to create and activate more jobs immediately.
-
Downgrading your plan – If you downgrade to a plan with fewer job slots:
- On your following billing date, we’ll automatically deactivate jobs if you’re over your limit (starting with the oldest active job).
- You can log in anytime to manually manage which jobs are active or inactive.
