Spark Hire’s SSO functionality will put your IT team’s mind at ease

• SSO elevates user experience and saves time: No passwords to remember, no need to reset your password when you forget it.
• It makes it easy to remove access when an employee leaves: When IT disables their email address, they are automatically locked out of Spark Hire, mitigating problems caused by ex-employees.
• It increases security: Reused passwords are the biggest security vulnerability and it’s impossible to control with third party applications. With SSO, there is no password to reuse.

How it works

We partner with WorkOS to manage the implementation of SSO which allows us to support 20+ identity  providers including Google, Azure Active Directory, Auth0, and many more. WorkOS is SOC 2 Type 2 certified, complies with the GDPR & CCPA, and performs regular 3rd-party penetration tests to ensure security.

We’ve made a self-service portal available for your IT team so they can configure SSO in minutes with no custom development necessary.

Setup process

1. Reach out to your Customer Success Manager or Sales representative about adding SSO to your account.
2. Once the feature is enabled, log in to Spark Hire and go to Settings > Single Sign On
3. Click the button to configure SSO which will take you to WorkOS.
4. Once you’re in the WorkOS dashboard for your organization, find your identity provider in this list of guides and follow the steps to finish the configuration.
