Generating API keys

As an account administrator, navigate to the Teamtailor page in your integrations settings and click Activate.

This will generate your API key and will be considered the Organization API key.

Other users on the account will need to follow these same steps in generating their API keys, though these will be considered User API keys.

Next, in Teamtailor, navigate to the Marketplace, click on Video interviews, under the Partners list, and then select Spark Hire.

Click Activate, in the lower left corner of the following menu.

This will prompt you to enter the API keys.

Formatting and Saving API keys

API keys will need to be entered a specific way:

Organization: ##api key## {ENTER}

1st Recruiter First & Last Name: ##api key## {ENTER}

2nd Recruiter First & Last Name: ##api key## {ENTER}

Subsequent users follow the same formatting

Example:

Organization: 123456789123456789123456789

John Doe: 123456789123456789123456789

Henry Hill: 987654321987654321987564231

Note here that the administrator user still needs to add themselves in addition to using their key for the organization

After the API keys are entered, click Validate credentials.

Sending Interviews

Individually

Open a candidate’s card and click on the “” icon at the top of the screen.

Click Add integrations and select Spark Hire’s Create Interview option.

Next, select which recruiter is creating the interview and the interview type.

On the following form select the job the interview is for, the time zone you would like the deadline in the invitation email to come across in, the question set you would like the candidate to respond to (for One-Way Interviews), and the interview’s deadline (or scheduled time for Live Interviews).

Click Create Interview to send the candidate an interview invitation email.

Using a trigger

To add a trigger:

Navigate to a given job and click on the Triggers icon (magic wand) on the right side of the page.

.

Go to the stage where you would like to add the trigger and click on + Add trigger.

Then, select Create Spark Hire Interview.

Next you’ll need to designate a recruiter for any interview created via this trigger; select them from the dropdown menu and then pick an interview type.

On the following form select the job the interview is for, the time zone you would like the deadline in the invitation email to come across in, the question set you would like the candidate to respond to (for One-Way Interviews), and the interview’s deadline (or scheduled time for Live Interviews).

You will also have the option to move the candidate to another stage upon interview completion by selecting Move candidate when complete, and designating the next stage.

The trigger can be delayed under Additional options.

When done setting up the interview trigger, click Add trigger.

Watching Completed Interviews

Navigate to the candidate card and select either the Watch interview link, which will require you be logged into Spark Hire to view the interview, or click on Share Link, which does not require you be logged into Spark Hire.
