If you are receiving the message "Couldn't connect to your media devices" and it is saying you did not give us permission to access your media devices after clicking on "Yes" to allow permission, there may be additional permissions you need to grant outside of the internet browser.

Please follow the steps below for your operating system:

Mac

1. Go to the Apple menu  > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy, then click Privacy.

2. Select Camera.

3. Select the checkbox next to the browser you're using (Chrome or Firefox) to allow it to access your camera.

4. Repeat the above step for Microphone, within the Privacy tab.

Windows

1. Go to Settings > Privacy.

2. Select Camera (under App Permissions).

3. Make sure "Allow apps to access your camera" is turned on.

4. Repeat the above step for Microphone (under App Permissions).

Android

1. Tap on the padlock icon at the left of the address bar and select Permissions

2. Ensure the camera and microphone are set to allowed

3. Reload the page. If the error persists, continue with step 4

4. Open your device's settings and navigate to Apps settings

5. Tap on Chrome and then on Permissions

6. Ensure camera and microphone are set to allowed

7. Return to the interview and reload the page

iOS

1. Go to Settings from your device's home screen

2. Go to Safari

3. Go to Settings for Websites

4. Select Camera and set to "Ask"

5. Repeat for Microphone under Settings for Websites

6. Return to the interview and reload the page

7. When prompted to allow access, select "Allow"

In addition, regardless of your operating system, please ensure all other applications that utilize your camera or microphone (e.g. Zoom, Slack, Teams, Facetime, etc.) are completely closed.
