How do I accept and access the interview invitation?

You can accept and access your interview by accessing the interview link and clicking on "Go to your interview". Once you click on "Go to your interview", you will be taken to a page where you can proceed to your interview.

If you are prompted to confirm your email address, you will receive an email with an email confirmation link inside. Simply click on that link, and you will be able to proceed to your interview.

Can I practice recording videos?

Yes, upon entering the interview, after checking your hardware and connection,  you will have the opportunity to record practice videos so you can better familiarize yourself with the recording process. Any practice videos you record are immediately discarded after you have the chance to review them, so the company you are interviewing for will not see them.

Can I check my camera and microphone before the interview?

Yes, after entering the interview and proceeding past the tutorial video, you will have the opportunity to check your camera and microphone.

What browser do I need to use?

In order to complete a One-Way Interview via computer, you will need to use Google Chrome.

You can download the latest version of Chrome here: Download Google Chrome

If using a mobile device, you will need to use Chrome on Android or Safari on iOS.

If you're using an iPad, and encountering the message reading that Safari is not supported, you may need to turn off the option to request the desktop website.

To turn this off, go to Settings --> Safari --> Request Desktop Website.

Here, you can toggle off the option to request the desktop site, which will allow you to proceed.

Where is the job located?

Spark Hire Meet is an assessment tool used by organizations as part of their hiring process.

Unfortunately, we only have information about our assessment platform and do not have further details about the job or your status in the process with the company you’re interviewing for. My suggestion is to reach out directly to the company you’re interviewing with for more information.

Can I use my phone/tablet/mobile device?

Yes, you can.

You can access the interview on a mobile device by accessing the interview link and clicking on "Go to your interview". Once you click on "Go to your interview", you will be taken to a page where you can proceed to your interview.

There is no additional Spark Hire app you will need to download.

How can I confirm that I have accepted my interview invitation?

If you have accepted your interview invitation, you will have received an email confirming that you have successfully accepted your invitation.  If you log in at https://app.sparkhire.com/login, and proceed through the confirmation email to your dashboard, you can view your interview status here, as well.

How can I get an extension to my interview's deadline?

Click through the interview link and then on the "Go to your interview" button.

Depending on how the company you're interviewing for has things set, you may be given the option to request a deadline extension, or may be granted one automatically, directly through the interview link.  This request goes directly to the company you're interviewing for.

If you are not given the option to request an extension, or are not granted one automatically, through the interview link, this may mean they are not currently allowing deadline extensions for this position.

If your interview has not yet expired, please access the interview link once it has, and you may be given the option to submit a deadline extension request directly to the organization you're interviewing for, may be automatically granted an extension, or may be denied an extension, depending on the organization's hiring process.

Can I view the questions in advance?

Unless the organization requesting the interview has provided you with the questions outside of the video interview, you would only be able to see the interview questions, one at a time, as you progress through the interview.

What are some possible questions that might be asked?

Unfortunately, we would not know what types of questions to expect in your video interview.  If you had received any messages from the organization you’re interviewing for with additional details around the position or hiring process, I would recommend checking those for potential insight.

What happens if I miss my interview deadline?

If you miss your interview deadline, please access your video interview link and click on ‘Go to your interview”.
