Plus, with the Spark Hire-Comeet integration, you gain control. This integration allows you to create text or video-based questions tailored to your specific needs, limit the time candidates have to think before responding, manage the number of takes allowed for each question, and set restrictions on the maximum answer length.

Integration setup
1. In Comeet, from your avatar at the top right, select Settings > Process > Integrations.
2. Find Spark Hire at the top of the list
3. Choose the relevant option for you to integrate the app.
- Unlimited: Exclusively available for companies who have a Spark Hire account. This plan offers unlimited One-way interviews.
- Copy the API key
- Navigate to the Comeet integration settings within Spark Hire
- Paste the API key and check the SMS notifications box (if you would like candidates to receive SMS notifications)
- Click Activate Integration
- Return to Comeet and complete the activation
- Limited: Tailored for companies who don’t have a Spark Hire account, integrated into the Comeet subscription. It offers up to 25 free One-way interviews per month.
4. Click Activate
Make the most of your integration
After the integration is enabled, Comeet and Spark Hire will sync all positions/jobs along with their respective name/title and description except for pre-existing positions in Comeet for which the candidate has not been submitted for an evaluation and jobs that have been deactivated in Spark Hire.
⏳ It may take a few minutes to sync all active jobs from Spark Hire to Comeet.
After the sync is complete, you’ll be able to:
- Manage positions in Comeet—including opening, editing, and closing positions.
- Manage the complete hiring process in Comeet—including initiating one-way video interviews.
- Manage question sets in Spark Hire—including creating and editing questions.
- Leverage other Spark Hire features, such as reference checks.
Add Spark Hire to your workflow
- In Comeet, click on a position and navigate to the position workflow.
- Add a new step or select an existing one.
- Change the step name to Spark Hire.
- Select the relevant Question set from the dropdown menu. These options represent the question sets that you set up in Spark Hire. Next to each question set name, you can click Description… to see the list of questions included in the question set.
Initiate one-way video interviews
After selecting the relevant question set, click Start to initiate the one-way video interview. This will trigger an email message from Spark Hire to the candidate with a request to take the one-way video interview.
⏰ Spark Hire will automatically send reminder emails to the candidate after 24, 48, 72, and 96 hours.
Submitted interviews
In Comeet, when the candidate completes and submits the interview:
- The step will be marked as complete with a recommendation to Review.
- A “Proceed with candidate?” step will be created and assigned to the person with a role on the hiring team according to your settings.
- The details of the one-way interview will be added to the Evaluation tab, including:
- The time of completion of the interview
- The list of questions, with an indication of whether they were submitted or not
- Two links for viewing the interviews submitted:
- A link for non-Spark Hire users, which doesn’t require logging in to Spark Hire
- A link for Spark Hire users, which does require logging in to Spark Hire
☝ Spark Hire users’ comments on the Spark Hire video page (decision, ranking, comments) are not synced into Comeet.
Non-submitted interviews
Expired interviews
One-way video interviews will expire after 5 days, at midnight according to the time zone of the position’s location. When an interview expires, the step will be completed in Comeet and the summary of the step will indicate that the step has expired.
A “Proceed with candidate?” step will be automatically created and assigned to the person with a role on the hiring team according to your settings and they will be able to choose whether to go/no-go with the candidate or resend the interview invitation.
Canceled interviews
If an interview is canceled on Spark Hire, the step will be completed in Comeet and the summary of the step will indicate that the step was canceled.
A “Proceed with candidate?” step will be automatically created and assigned to the person with a role on the hiring team according to your settings and they will be able to choose whether to go/no-go with the candidate or resend the interview invitation.
