Access the video request link you were provided and click on See video prompt.

If you’ve never used Spark Hire, you’ll be prompted to confirm your information and agree to the Spark Hire Terms of Use and Privacy and Security Policy. Click on Proceed as guest to continue.

If you’ve used Spark Hire before, you’ll be prompted to log in to your account to continue.

Next, you will have the option to record a video or upload a video. If you’re on a mobile device, you’ll just see the upload option since you’ll select a video from your device.(Proceed to step 6 for steps on uploading videos)

Record a video

Selecting the option to record a video will walk you through a quick hardware and connection check.

• A page will load where you will be asked to grant permission to your webcam and microphone. Click Yes and then Continue.
• Webcam: Use the dropdown menu to select a webcam until you can see yourself in the webcam preview. Click Continue to move to the next step.
• Microphone: Use the dropdown menu to select a microphone until you see the volume meter filling up with color. Click Continue when you're done setting up your microphone.
• Speed Test: This will determine your connection quality. Click Continue and then on Connect to media server.

When you're ready to record your video, click Ready to record and then on the red Record button on the top right hand side of the recorder.

A 3-2-1 countdown will appear and then begin recording.

Click the Stop button to stop recording and the video will automatically play back.

To re-record, click Retake and the recorder will reappear. If you're satisfied with your video, click Submit.

Upload a video

Selecting the option to upload a video will allow you to drag and drop or browse for a video file to upload. The supported file types are .mp4  .mkv  .webm  .mov

Once selected, the file will upload and then process. After processing is complete (the time varies depending on your connection and how large the video file is), you can either upload a different file by clicking on New upload or finalize your upload by clicking on Submit video.
