What is an interview evaluation?
Saving an interview evaluation enables you to track whether an interview was passed, failed, or needs a decision. This helps you keep your interviews organized. An interview evaluation is different from a candidate disposition because a candidate might pass an interview, but still be rejected for the job.
Keep in mind there is only a single evaluation per interview meaning that any user reviewing the interview can decide if the interview was passed or failed and that’ll be displayed to any other user on your account reviewing the interview.
Mark an interview as Passed
When you’re watching an interview that does not have an evaluation entered for it, you’ll see a dropdown at the top right that says Undecided. Click that dropdown and select Passed.
After selecting Passed, you’ll have an option to simultaneously save a candidate disposition, but you can keep No selected to simply save the interview evaluation.
You’ll be redirected back to the interview and will see the interview evaluation updated to Passed.
Mark an interview as Failed
When you’re watching an interview that does not have an evaluation entered for it, you’ll see a dropdown at the top right that says Undecided. Click that dropdown and select Failed.
After selecting Failed, you’ll have an option to simultaneously save a candidate disposition, but you can keep No selected to simply save the interview evaluation.
You’ll be redirected back to the interview and will see the interview evaluation updated to Failed.
Revert an interview evaluation to Undecided
If your team changes its mind or if you accidentally saved an interview evaluation, you can easily revert the interview evaluation back to Undecided.
When watching the interview, simply click the interview evaluation dropdown and choose Undecided.
You'll be prompted to confirm this change in a modal.
Once you confirm, you'll see the interview evaluation was reverted to Undecided.
Enter interview evaluations in bulk
When viewing your list of interviews, you can select multiple interviews at a time and click the Evaluate button at the top of the page.
This will open the same interview evaluation form which will let you choose Passed or Failed and optionally enter a candidate disposition.
When you perform a bulk action, all of the interviews (and candidates if you enter a disposition) will be updated with what you enter.
