What is a candidate disposition?

Entering a candidate disposition enables you to track whether you hired or rejected a candidate for a specific job. Since a candidate might have more than 1 interview with you for a job on Spark Hire, the candidate disposition is essentially your final decision.

Keep in mind that when you enter a candidate disposition, it will be reflected that way for everyone who has access to that candidate on your account. You can update a candidate disposition at any time as well.

Mark a candidate as Hired

When watching interview

You can enter a candidate disposition while evaluating an interview. From the interview evaluation form, you’ll have the option to enter a candidate disposition. To do so, click Yes and then choose Hired.

When you mark a candidate as Hired, you’ll choose whether this is an internal hire (for your organization) or external hire (for a client you’re placing the candidate with). If you select External, you’ll have the option to enter the placement fee (amount and currency) earned so your recruiting firm can track its revenue influenced by Spark Hire.

Lastly, you have the option to send an email to the candidate.

Click Save evaluation and the candidate will be marked as Hired.

From the candidate's profile

When viewing a candidate, you can enter a disposition per job. Choose the job you want to enter a candidate disposition for and click Update disposition.
